Skippy Web started in 2019 as a place to write down what we learned building websites. Then AI showed up in every part of the job, and the notes got a lot more interesting.

We’re builders first. We write about the part that comes after the demo, when a feature meets real users, real traffic and a real invoice. That’s where things get messy, and it’s also where most of what’s worth knowing turns up.

We try to write the way we’d explain it to a colleague over coffee. We say what worked and what we’d do differently, and we skip the hype. If something cost us a weekend or a budget, we’ll tell you how.

Skippy Web is independent. Nobody pays us to like their tools, and we’d rather tell you something didn’t work than pretend it did.
